2 & 5 PM

Low Ground is a musical experience curated in the state of Florida by musicians Amanda Accardi, Tom Callino, and Nicholas Kiriazis. The trio specializes in acoustic jams, continuously mixing the old with the new and adding twists of their own along the way. They are described as being a fresh sound that keeps the traditionalists happy, while also catering to those whose seek to push past the boundaries of the norm. Low Ground is heavily influenced by Americana, Bluegrass, Folk, Rock, Blues,Jazz, and Jam styles of music. As a band they strive to honor the history and traditions set forth by these styles of music; even while adding in their own artistic expression.

The band consists of Tom Callino; classically trained violinist and bluegrass enthusiast, Nico Kiriazis; Life-long musician and multi-instrumentalist whose repertoire spans genres, and Amanda Accardi; naturally inclined vocalist and musician with a keen ear for music. Together they form a unique trio whose love for music is apparent whenever they pick up their instruments!

Low Ground has expanded with the option of playing as a five piece band for a more complete bluegrass/full band sound. Isaac Taylor is well steeped in the Florida bluegrass community. His elite banjo skills combined with his powerhouse vocals make him a true force to be reckoned with. Isaac has been in many bluegrass bands, including Ernie Evan’s and the Florida State Bluegrass Band. Trevor Klutz is a multi-instrumentalist and bluegrass aficionado. His mandolin playing spans the repertoire from Monroe to Grisman and everything in between. With the addition of Isaac and Trevor this group packs a punch that can't be denied.

THE LUBBEN BROTHERS

SUNDAY, JANUARY 30
2:30 & 5 PM

The Lubben Brothers is an acoustic group made up of triplet brothers, Michael, Tom, and Joshua. Their younger brother, Isaac (17), joins them from the suburbs of Chicago whenever possible. The brothers specialize in tight vocal harmonies, as well as a unique blend of folk instruments including banjo, mandolin, tin whistle, accordion, hammered dulcimer, and fiddle. Classically trained at a young age, their modern songwriting style incorporates folk roots with complex pop ideas.

The Lubben Brothers have performed at venues such as the Meyer Amphitheater, The South Florida Fair, the Flagler Museum, Broward Center for the Performing Arts, The Gamble Rodgers Concert Series, and the Norton Museum of Art. The brothers performed as the on-stage band in Dramawork’s award-winning production of “Woody Guthrie’s American Song” in the summer of 2018. They have also performed as actor/musicians in the world premiere of their original musical, “The Luck of Roaring Camp,” which was produced by Palm Beach Atlantic University in October 2018. Music from their two albums has aired on radio stations in Iowa, Minnesota, and Florida, including exclusive interviews on NPR's “Folk and Acoustic Music” (WLRN, Miami), Legends Radio (WLML, West Palm Beach), Fogartyville (WSLR, Sarasota), Community Conscious Radio (WMNF, Tampa), West Palm Beach TV (WPTV), and more. In April 2020, the brothers’ video of their original song “Dance for Love” was selected by Chris Thile as an encore to NPR’s “Live from Here” broadcast, and aired on the network’s YouTube and social media pages. Their group has also been featured in the Sun Sentinel, the Orlando Sentinel, the Palm Beach Post, Palm Beach Daily News, North Palm Beach Life, Boca Magazine, Palm Beach Illustrated, and the St. Augustine Record. Early 2021, they released their first original, full-length album “Prodigal Songs.”
