THE PRYMATES

FRIDAY, JANUARY 14

The Prymates formed by a chance meeting at a music store.

Tom and Steve clicked after just a few notes and the synergy was clear.

Tom Murphy has a history of playing gigs throughout south Florida for the past 20 years, filled with energy. He doesn’t play a song, he attacks it!

Steven Volante has been a gigging musician since the 80’s and comes from a musical family from New York City. Steve had his first performance at the tender 5 in Carnegie Hall.

With the addition of Robert John Tucker (drum instructor, studio and performance percussionist), he instantly turned us into a power trio with an energetic yet tasteful approach.

Whether playing Delta Blues, classic rock or originals, together a unique style emerges.


RIT JOHNSON

SUNDAY, JANUARY 16

has played throughout his music career at various concerts, festivals, clubs, restaurants as well as private affairs, and has co-released three original CDs between 1997 and 2005. In 2016, he released his debut original music album titled "RIT". The album has nine songs that were written at various times during his long career. In June of 2018, Rit released a new consolidated album of the six songs from "Rit" that were Blues styles in order to concentrate on a more specific genre, and further please the Blues fans.

Rit has opened for such major acts as Jerry Lee Lewis, Bonnie Raitt at "Sunfest" in West Palm Beach, Little Feat, BTO, and the Temptations who he later had the opportunity to sing a verse of "My Girl"with the group. He is currently playing with Ryan And The Rockers, Jupiter Trailer Trash, and Rit Johnson & Friends, as well as solo performances in the South Florida area. Rit's solo performance catalog of music consists of artists and styles that he loved through out the years including Rock, Blues, Pop, Country, Jazz, and the early Rock & Roll artists.

The members of If & When were drawn together for one reason. They shared a desire to play music that is fun to listen to. And they want to have fun playing it. Starting with bluegrass instrumentation and stylings, they include music from many different genres and eras. Their sound and style can only be called "Barely Bluegrass".

Two Rockin' Floridian guitarists, Rit Johnson and Joel DaSilva have joined forces to bring a blend of Classic Rock, Blues, Americana / Country and Soul in a tasty gumbo for the people of South Florida. Both guitarists have spent decades separately perfecting their craft, releasing multiple albums of music on their own and opening on many major stages for international stars such as BB King, Ray Charles, Jeff Beck, Bonnie Raitt, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Temptations and many more throughout their individual careers.

These two rockers have known each other for many years and occasionally crossed paths during that time. But now, they have decided to finally pool their talents together while still keeping their individual careers going strong. So.........

Now it's time to “Mix It Up” with The King Mixers !!

LaSoulfulRock was born & raised in Jamaica. Getting his first taste at playing musical instruments in school. With his talent and love for it, he continued playing in the Army, eventually going to England to study music.

He has traveled the world with many bands, including the likes of Stephen Marley and Beres Hammond. He is now following his own dream and passion of performing solo while working on creating his own music and albums.
LaSoulfulRock is a very talented professional musician playing the saxophone and flute. He can play anything & everything. As no genre can hold him! He has a unique smooth soulful sound, always playing from his heart and soul.

VICTORIA CARDONA

South Florida native Victoria Cardona is a guitarist, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, one-woman jam band. Her loop performances are a sonic and visual experience that take the audience on a ride through the mind of an improvisationalist.

Victoria attended McNally Smith College of Music in Saint Paul, Minnesota where she was awarded the prestigious Founders Scholarship.

Victoria is proudly endorsed by Analog Alien Guitar Pedals and shares the title of an Analog Alien Artist with the company of Stevie Wonder, Billy Gibbons of Z.Z Top, Joe Walsh of the Eagles, Joan Jett, Susan Tedeschi, Jose Feliciano and Pino Palladino.

From Nashville’s legendary Bluebird Cafe to Lucas Oil Stadium for an NFL half-time show for the Indianapolis Colts, singer/songwriter JD Danner has been captivating audiences nationally and globally. Her style is described as Joan Jett meets Johnny Cash.

Judy Routley has been JD’s duo partner since 2001. She has traveled to perform at military bases and festivals nationally in addition to local shows. Her spot-on harmonies bring a fresh new dimension to their performances.

In October 2020, JD and Judy’s version of Janis Ian's song titled, "Better Times Will Come" was chosen to be on Janis' website - BetterTimesWillCome.com.

Most recently, JD is receiving much accolade by for her single release titled, "Nothing But Faith" which she was inspired to write during the pandemic quarantine.

JD’s song “Thanks To The Brave” was chosen by NFL Cheerleaders for their USO tour and she was then invited to performed that song during the halftime show for the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium.

In 2015 she performed as the first ever and only house band for the Florida Panther’s hockey team for the 2015-2016 season. Additionally she was commissioned to write the anthem for the team titled, “Go Cats Go”.

JD Danner is consistently ranked as the No. 1 artist on the Miami charts for the music website Reverbnation and she has more than 50,000 hits on YouTube for her original music.
