DJ MARLEY

FRIDAY, JANUARY 27
3:30 & 5:30 PM

DJ Marley, better known as Marley Desinord, is from Pompano Beach, Florida. She began Dj'ing at just the age of 7 years old when she was only in the 2nd grade. Marley wanted to become a DJ after seeing DJs set up outside of the Dolphin Stadiums before home games playing music during tailgates. She would be the people dance and have fun so that sparked her interest.

She begged her father for weeks and weeks to get her a beginner's DJ set and he finally relented and bought it. With an old Mac laptop and a beginner's controller, Marley started watching how-to-Dj YouTube videos with her dad and from there she started. She would spend hours playing. She then began making videos of her mixes and put them on Instagram. That started getting more and more people following her on Instagram and Twitter.

Marley made a "90s Hip Hop" mix that caught the attention of Tom Garfinkel CEO of the Miami Dolphins. He asked her to perform half-time of the Baltimore Ravens vs. Miami Dolphins preseason game in August of 2018. And from there she has never looked back. She has performed for the Miami Heat, worked with DJ Khaled, opened up for The Black Eyed Peas in June of 2021 in Miami.

Throughout much of her success, she stays humble and wants to be an example to little girls all over the country, that they can be anything they want to be, even at the tender age of 7.

Alyssa is heavily influenced by artists like Taylor Swift, Danielle Bradbury, Kelsea Ballerini and Dolly Parton. Alyssa has opened for David Nail as well as Tracy Lawrence along with Nashville recording artist, Walker Montgomery and performed at the same venue as Lady A, Darius Rucker, Russell Dickerson, Dierks Bentley, Jon Pardi and Tenille Townes.

From New York to Miami, Nikki's command of the stage emanates a message of healing and self-empowerment through her music. Cuban musician Ariel de la Portilla [DLP], is an eclectic multicultural bassist and songwriter working in the contemporary music scene. Greatly influenced by early Rock n Roll, Funk, Blues, Jazz and Cuban Son, Ariel is equally inventive on both electric and acoustic bass. Ariel has worked as a freelance musician in New York and abroad for more than 15 years, in addition to the Southwest Virginia region.
