Important Dates

  • August 1, 2026:

    Market Steers: Entries open August 1; close at 11:59 p.m. on September 8, 2026. Must include completed W-9, proof of school and required photos. Photos uploaded (3 JPEG files) on ShoWorks of all market steers.

  • September 3, 2026:

    Pullets: Entries open September 3; close at 11:59 p.m. on September 30, 2026. Must include proof of school and required photos.

  • September 15, 2026:

    Market Hogs: Entries open September 15; close at 11:59 p.m. October 15, 2026. Must include completed W-9, proof of school and required photos.

  • October 1, 2026:

    ALL OTHER LIVESTOCK, POULTRY AND RABBIT: Online entries open Thursday, October 1, 2026 and closes at 11:59 p.m on Tuesday, December 1, 2026.
NOTE: Late Entry Period will open at 1:00 p.m Wednesday, December 2, 2026 and will close on Sunday, December 13, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Late Entry fees will be doubled.

Other Important Dates

• October 1, 2026, Livestock Camping reservations open online, first come, first served

• Saturday, November 7, 2026, 9 a.m.: Ethics training and Youth Marketing Clinic, at the South Florida Fairgrounds.

• Consult the Fair’s Livestock Calendar for all other check-ins, weigh-ins, show dates/times, and other events on the fair’s website at southfloridafair.com; subject to change without notice.



2027 AG GRADUATING SENIORS

The South Florida Fair is once again recognizing our youth livestock exhibitors who will graduate from high school in 2027. To be included in the Fair's recognition, please submit one photo and a short bio.

Deadline to submit: Sunday, December 13, 2026

Ethics Workshop/Youth market Auction Clinic

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 7 - BEGINS PROMPTLY AT 9 AM (PLEASE ARRIVE BETWEEN 8:30 – 8:45 AM.)

The Youth Livestock Show Ethics and Animal Care Workshop is designed to certify students to meet the mandatory certification requirements that will be in effect for the 2027 South Florida Fair. Certifications are valid for three (3) Fair seasons, not three calendar years.
