Help us create South Florida Fair’s largest outdoor agricultural classroom!
The South Florida Fair is embarking on a new project titled “Food Farming Discovery Center” located in Yesteryear Village. It is our vision of a large agricultural classroom to educate, empower and engage individuals in our community on the sustainability of food through hands-on activities and focused learning labs.
This project hopes to achieve youth engagement, community resilience and environmental stewardship, with the goals of strengthening food security, economic growth, cultural preservation and technological advancement.
We can only achieve our goals with the help of generous donations from supporters and community members. With their support, we’ve been able to host over 6,000 students at our AG-Explorations and educate children about history and agriculture throughout the year, including our Summertime Group Discoveries.
We are asking for your help in this fundraising campaign so that we can continue to inspire a new generation of farmers and teach the public about food production and conservation of natural resources to ensure a sustainable, resilient and productive agricultural sector for the future. Our initial goal is to raise $80,000.00 to get this program started.
