1. Exhibits shall be educational as well as artistic.
2. All entries must be made in advance. Areas are assigned on a first-come/ first-serve basis. Entries will be closed when the allotted areas are assigned. Participants are encouraged to visit the sites before selecting. Please contact the AGriBusiness Department at 561-790-5232 to schedule an appointment.
3. Exhibit design will be based on the announced theme. Plant materials selected should relate to the theme, making use of the latest and greatest in plants, technology, etc.
4. Only areas outlined as part of the contest will be judged.
5. Participants are welcome to include in the display a small holder for information. If you would like to have a spokesperson at the display, please contact the AGriBusiness Department to make arrangements prior to the Fair’s opening.
6. Optional – Plant material may be labeled. Information and explanation (if any) must be readable to the general public from outside the display space.
7. Landscaped areas are required to have a sign, identifying the participating group and to recognize the exhibitors. No additional signage is permitted.
8. Exhibitors are expected to clean, replace dead plant material, and water the display daily. If the exhibit is not kept attractive, any awards will be forfeited. Pumps and fountains must be maintained in working order.
9. Exhibit installation can begin after Monday, January 12 and must be completed by 10 a.m. on Friday, January 16.
10. The award winners will be designated at approximately 4 p.m. on Sunday, January 18.
11. Exhibits must be removed by 5 p.m. Monday, February 2.
12. Prizes will be awarded First ($250), Second ($150), and Third ($100) Place.

14. I understand that by participating in this contest, I and/or my company/organization, employees, volunteers, students will not hold The South Florida Fair, its officials, agents, employees, representatives, managers, officers, volunteers, and/or sponsors responsible for any loss, damage or theft of any plant(s), ornament(s), material(s), etc. that are part of the contest and on display.
