Will facial coverings be required?

  • Seating at all stages and grounds entertainment is limited to provide for physical distancing.
  • Online ticket purchase is encouraged to minimize touch points at the entrance. A new ticketing system is being implemented to avoid paper tickets and minimize contact with ticket sellers, ticket takers and ride operators.
  • All vendors, sponsors, staff members and volunteers are required to wear face masks while working. Food will be handled safely, with all concessionaires required to utilize gloves, masks and sanitizing and cleaning protocols.
  • In light of the Executive Order issued by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, the South Florida Fair has modified its requirement concerning facial coverings. Instead of requiring mandatory facial coverings for entry and attendance at the Fair, we now recommend that one be worn, but will not require them. Each visitor can exercise their best and reasonable judgment on wearing a facial covering while attending the Fair.
  • The recommendation to wear facial coverings in public places where there are large groups of people is strongly encouraged by Fair leadership. The Fair staff, board, vendors and volunteers will wear facial coverings when the Fair is open to the public to continue to ensure their safety. The Fair will continue its plans to have hand sanitizer and hand washing stations throughout the grounds and still encourages social distancing.
  • Additional hand sanitizer stations and hand washing stations are located throughout the Fairgrounds, including at the entry, exit, food concession areas, restrooms and animal exhibits.
  • Additional signage placed in several locations will help everyone remain six feet apart and remind you about wearing the mask when social distancing is not possible.
  • The South Florida Fair maintains its high standards of cleanliness and all high-touch point surfaces like doors, railings, restrooms, and all surfaces will continuously be cleaned.
