FDACS Chef Jorge Sanchez Demonstrations

Chef Jorge Sanchez, MBA CEC CCE CCA will be making a guest appearance revolving around “Simple and Healthy Meals for a Busy Family” utilizing products grown in Palm Beach County.

Local products for the demonstrations are being provided by Western Palm Beach County Farm Bureau and Eastern Palm Beach County Farm Bureau.

Chef Jorge Sanchez is the Food, Nutrition, and Wellness chef for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. His work has him supporting many culinary initiatives throughout the state of Florida. Chef Jorge supports Farm-to-School initiatives, bridging connections between local farmers and school nutrition professionals to integrate Fresh from Florida ingredients into school menus. Through hands-on training and strategic partnerships, he is committed to improving K-12 meals with popular flavors, chef-inspired quality, and high nutritional value.

Chef Sanchez has won several international culinary awards and edible art competitions including the International Culinary Olympics, Internationale Kochkunst Ausstellung (IKA), in Frankfort, Germany where he won silver and bronze medals. Chef also earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Cornerstone University in Michigan.
