You have ideas and plans and goals - so much to offer the world - but how? The Miss America Organization has an opportunity that will help bring you closer to achieving your goals.
To become Miss America, a contestant must first win a local competition like the Miss South Florida Fair Scholarship Pageant, and then compete to represent her state at the Miss Florida Pageant.

At the Miss South Florida Fair Scholarship Pageant, Miss America qualified judges will select winners on the following criteria:
• Interview
• Formal Wear
• Talent
• Swimsuit
Winner will receive:
• $3,000 Scholarship (college of choice)
• $3,000 Palm Beach Atlantic University Scholarship
• $1,000 Cash and Other Prizes
• Entry into the Miss Florida Pageant 2012
• Official Miss America Crown & Trophy
• 1st Runner-up will receive $1,000 scholarship
• 2nd Runner-up will receive $750 scholarship
• 3rd Runner-up will receive $500 scholarship
• Awards for talent and interview are $250 in cash
Applicants to the Miss South Florida Fair Scholarship Pageant must be 17-24 years old, an American citizen, and at least a high school senior.
