To help protect our valued guests, the South Florida Fair conducts searches of bags at our entrance, as a condition of entry onto the fairgrounds.
EXPECT TO WALK THROUGH METAL DETECTORS AND/OR WANDS, SO EMPTY YOUR PERSON OF METAL OBJECTS.
The South Florida Fair DOES NOT allow the following items to be brought onto the fairgrounds:

- 4. SELFIE STICKS;
- 5. Drones;
- 6. Any other item deemed to be a danger to others.
GoPro cameras are NOT allowed on rides.
ARE YOU AN ADVANCE ADMISSION OR ADVANCE RIDE TICKET HOLDER?
Avoid the lines. You can go straight to the bag check area with your phone or tickets and show the QR Code at the doors.
SANITIZE your Hands OFTEN! Prevent disease!:
The Fair has sanitizing stations available near all areas.
Check the weather:
South Florida weather in January can change quickly. Check ahead on whether you need to bring sunscreen, a hat, a sweater, or a poncho.
Arrive early:
Come early! Stay late as there is plenty to see and do. Remember which gate number you entered. Take a moment to familiarize yourself with your surroundings to avoid confusion when leaving.
GENERAL Parking IS $10; PREMIUM PARKING IS $20
We accept cash or cards.
Tram service:
Give your feet a break. Complimentary and regularly scheduled tram service is available to and from north parking areas. Tram service available at select times and dates.
Please leave pets at home:
Pets are not permitted on the fairgrounds. Do not leave them in your vehicle. Only service/assistance dogs and seeing eye dogs are allowed in our facilities.
Auto assistance:
If you lock your keys, have a flat tire or a dead battery, a parking attendant can notify a Fair-certified towing service, and they will assist you with your minor emergency needs.
Wheelchair and Stroller rentals:
Rentals are available at the Fair for baby strollers, wagons, wheelchairs and scooters. You can reserve online at
https://scootaround.com/en/south-florida-fair or rent onsite at the front of the Expo Center and the Archway Gate. Scooter rentals are $65.00 and Wheelchairs are $25.00 per day.
Wear comfortable shoes:
With 130 acres to cover, there is plenty of walking. We have umbrellas and many sitting areas for your convenience.

We are Sensory Inclusive®
The South Florida Fair partnered with KultureCity to make the facility sensory inclusive. This initiative promotes an accommodating and positive experience for all guests and fans with a sensory issue who visit.
Credit cards & ATM’s:
MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover are accepted at all admission gates and midway ticket plazas. ATM machines are available at multiple locations. Check with Guest Services for more information.
Baby Changing Stations:
Facilities are located in most men’s and women’s restrooms on the fairgrounds.
Remember your medication:
If you have a medical condition that requires medication, be sure to bring what you need with you. Refrigeration of prescription drugs is available at First Aid in the Hospitality Center.
Daily schedules:
Each Guest Services booth is stocked with daily event schedules, complete with show times and Fair information.

Lost?:
The Lost Children’s Booth/Office is located in the Hospitality Center at the south end of the covered walkway. You may also seek assistance at any Guest Services booth. When you get to the Fair, it’s a good idea to select a meeting place in the event your party becomes separated. One tip is to select a tall, brightly colored ride on the carnival midway.
Lost & Found Items:
If you’ve lost an item during your visit, all unattended property will be safely guarded at the Hospitality Center.
Bring your appetite:
The South Florida Fair is famous for its wide array of delectable food treats. From barbecue to elephant ears, there is nothing like Fair food! Thirsty? There are lots of free water fountains throughout the fairgrounds. Bottled water and Coca-Cola products can also be purchased.
Leave coolers at home:
Leave all bottles, cans, coolers, and picnic baskets at home or in your vehicle. Such items are not permitted inside the gates.
Wash your Hands! Prevent disease!:
Wash your hands thoroughly after visiting the animals and assist your children in washing their hands. The Fair has hand-washing stations available near all hands-on animal exhibit areas.
