Individuals, 18-40 will be selected to participate in the South Florida Fair's exciting "Beyond The Fair" Program for young professionals.

Class of 2024 Application
The South Florida Fair’s “Beyond the Fair” is a program for young professionals in the South Florida area. Members will have the opportunity to partake in “behind the scenes” and learn about year-round activities that take place at the Fairgrounds. The Beyond the Fair program will give insight into the production business model behind the special events as well as social networking opportunities with community leaders. Program members will also be instrumental in the planning of a Young Professionals event during the annual South Florida Fair.
Interested participants are required to submit an application and will be notified of acceptance into the program. The “Beyond the Fair” program requires no financial commitment.
Selection Criteria
- Must be 18 to 40 years old.
- A resident of, or employed in one of the following counties: Broward, Hendry, Martin, Okeechobee, or Palm Beach.
- Have community involvement.
During the program, members will experience all aspects of the South Florida Fair and gain an understanding of how the Fair supports the community throughout the year. We welcome you to the fun and exciting memories that we create, the networking connections and relationships that are built, and the joy that we bring to families and friends all over South Florida.
ACTIVITY SCHEDULE
JANUARY 26, 2024: Introduction of the 2025 Class and Class of 2024 Graduation during the South Florida Fair.
MARCH: Behind the scenes tour of the iThink Financial Amphitheatre
JULY: South Florida Fair Board & Committee Introductions
OCTOBER: Behind the scenes tour of Fright Nights
JANUARY, 2025: Introduction of the 2026 Class and Class of 2025 Graduation during the South Florida Fair.
Additional networking mixers and events may be added to the schedule. Advance notice will be given. Additional events are not required but highly encouraged.
All events are held after work hours with the exception of one weekend event in July.
Activity date will be determined prior to final selection of participants.
