10th ANNUAL SWEET CORN FIESTA
April 25, 2010
A celebration of the spring growing season and of those who make it happen!
Boiled, roasted or raw, corn doesn’t come any sweeter than that grown right here in Palm Beach County. No community grows more. Palm Beach County farmers cultivate more than 27,000 acres yearly. Few counties grow half that acreage. With a shelf life of a week to ten days, the local yield is quickly shipped to supermarkets along the Eastern Seaboard and to destinations as far away as the Midwest, California and Canada.
The Sweet Corn Fiesta features lots of family fun including children rides, games and activities (all free with admission ticket) contests, food, country music and of course the sweetest corn in the world. Come early and enter one of the many contests going on during the day. Feel like you could eat a barrel of sweet corn if given the opportunity? Enter the Adult International Corn Eating Contest and compete against the Corn King.
Admission is adults $7, children 6-11 $4. Children 5 and under are admitted free.
BUY ADVANCE ADMISSION TICKETS TODAY AND SAVE $1 OFF REGULAR ADULT GATE ADMISSION!
Parking is free.
