The South Florida Fair will host a celebration of Puerto Rican heritage presented by JetBlue and the Puerto Rican/Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for Palm Beach County.

Fair guests donating two or more food items are eligible for daily prize drawings and $500 grand prize.

At this year’s South Florida Fair, 190 contestants hope they can enjoy this kind of success. They were chosen from the 500 acts who auditioned in November and December 2012 in Broward and Palm Beach County.

Discount admission and ride tickets to January’s annual South Florida Fair are on sale now through Jan. 17 at Publix supermarkets, BB&T, Bud’s Chicken & Seafood and TD Bank locations. Tickets also may be purchased online at http://www.southfloridafair.org. The 2013 South Florida Fair, 9067 Southern Blvd., West Palm Beach, is slated for January 18-February 3.

General seating is free with a Fair admission ticket. Reserved seats also are available for $10 for these concerts, which is in addition to the Fair admission ticket.

Bargain hunters can take advantage of a number of ways to save on both admission and rides at the 101st edition of the South Florida Fair, Jan. 18 - Feb. 3. Guests are encouraged to bring two cans of food or dry goods to be entered into a drawing to win a variety of prizes.

The South Florida Fair’s Exposition Hall will take on a presidential look during its run from Fri., Jan. 18, through Sun., Feb. 3. A number of new attractions will be set up in the 70,000 square foot expo space with the theme, “Washington, D.C., Our Nation’s Capital.”
