Imagine a Christmas with ice skating, hot chocolate or apple cider and gingerbread houses celebrated against a backdrop of strolling carolers and choral groups vocalizing your favorite holiday melodies. The spirit of traditional Christmas comes alive at historic Yesteryear Village on the South Florida Fairgrounds for two big weekends in December. Sponsored by Publix, Village volunteers will present “Christmas In Yesteryear Village,” reminiscent of a simpler era.

SECOND WEEKEND, DEC 14-16:

FREE Ice staking sponsored by Skate zone

When is the last time you ice skated? Slip on a pair of skates and glide away (second weekend of event). Marvel over a towering and fully decorated 30 foot Christmas tree and a synchronized light show. Check out over 20 historic buildings festooned in thousands of sparkling Christmas lights and garland. Vote for your favorite Christmas tree in a community tree trim competition. Sink your teeth into a smore! The Village will have the tasty treats together with many other delicious and special holiday food offerings. 

           

As you wander through “Christmas in Yesteryear Village,” capture the distinct holiday atmosphere in the air. A magnificent and live Nativity scene proclaims the reason for the season. Shop special holiday crafters and be sure to browse the General Store for gift-giving. Bring the kids and grandchildren for pony rides and children games. Both Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus will be there.

 

GINGERBREAD HOUSE CONTEST! 

FREE to enter the contest, free creativity...the only rule is, it has to be edible! Show off your talent and enter!!!
Deliver your Gingerbread House to Yesteryear Village between Wed. December 5 and Friday, Dec 7 from 9:00 - 4:30 p.m. and we will keep them on display through the Fair for everyone to admire!!

Admission is $10; children ages 2 and under are admitted free.
Parking is free.
If you purchase an advance admission ticket to January’s South Florida Fair at any Publix in Palm Beach County, you’ll receive a free child admission ticket to Christmas in Yesteryear Village.

DIRECTIONS
