      This year, the South Florida Fair will invite the public to attend the Fair and “Party with the Animals” during its 17-day run, January 18 - February 3, 2008. The main exposition center will showcase animals of the air, land and sea from around the world. When you enter the building, you will find the Animals in Flight display.

This area will feature a variety of feathered friends from around the world. Eagles, macaws, as well as parrot and cockatoos that talk and sing will be featured in an all-natural environment in an avian extravaganza!


Wildlife Wendy & Her Tropical Birds

Wildlife Wendy and her amazing tropical birds provide an up-close and personal encounter with the most entertaining species of the bird world.

A major focus in the “Party with the Animals” Exposition will be the “Animals of the Deep” display. This area will feature some of nature’s most amazing creatures that reside in the dark, deep abyss of the sea.

Sea Lion Splash

A star performance in the Animals of the Deep exposition, the sea lion show will highlight the beauty and wonder of these magnificent animals.

Live Shark Encounter & Great White Museum

No other animal of the deep elicits more fear or fascination than the shark! Get ready for close contact with this intriguing sea creature during the live shark encounter!

The Amazing RainForest Adventure

As they stroll through the Animals of the Wild exposition, Fair visitors will see some of the most rare and endangered species on our planet. Experience The Amazing Rainforest where conservation and environmental awareness take center stage. The blending of trained exotic animals and audience interaction make this show a warm and wonderful experience. Combining education and entertainment with a large exhibit area that is available throughout the day , the show features over 20 different animals including tigers, cougars, monkeys, parrots and many others.

Animal Adventure “giveaways” will be conducted on a daily basis with opportunities to visit exciting animal attractions throughout the state of Florida.

A feature in the main Expo Hall will be an animal lovers shopper’s paradise called the Ani-Mall. Fairgoers can shop for their pets at Annie’s Pooch Pops, Pet ID, Pocket Pets, Pinson Novelties and more!. Pampered pets spa and beauty treatments, delicious treats, ID tags, leashes and collars, toys, stuffed animals and so much more will be on sale throughout the 17 days of the Fair.

WAMU SCHOOL ART
Butterfies and fish school art will fill the buildings!  Washington Mutual and Palm Beach County schools have partnered once again on the school art project.  Be sure to vote for your favorite school’s butterfly or fish, so that they can win cash prizes!!
